Great examples! A few words you might want to use in the future: “speed bumps” are the things intentionally placed to reduce traffic speed (topes), but potholes are big bumps in the road that can mess up your car’s alignment and cause other damage. Also, instead of “to prevent to ran out of gas,” you can say, “…keep an eye on the level of gas so that you don’t run out of gas” or “to prevent running out of gas”
