In reply to Huy. I never thought about the motorcycles, scooters, and e-bikes! Do electric cars not make any sound when they're driving? I think in the US and Mexico, they make a sound at slower speeds, but maybe not at highway speeds (80+ kph)

I remember a movie that talked about a very powerfull car like Ferarri but electric (I don’t know why). The owner wanted the sound of Ferrari was the same as well as than the classic Ferrari’s sound. It was a challenge.

In Viet Nam, and in Ho Chi Minh City in particular, electric motorbikes and cars are so quiet that people often don’t notice them approaching. I have seen a few close calls where pedestrians or other riders didn’t hear the vehicle and nearly got hit. I think it would be helpful if Vietnam introduced regulations requiring electric vehicles to emit warning sounds at low speeds.
