Make sure is great here. The whole sentence is correct. However, two things to make it sound more natural:

1. We would usually say, “Before I leave home” or “Before I leave the house” but rarely “my home”.
2. “Everything necessary” is fine, but it would sound more natural as, “everything I need”

So you can put it together like: “Before I leave the house in the morning, I always make sure I have everything I need for the whole day in my bag.”

You’re on the right track here. We don’t usually say “make sure about” + something general like health. We want to say, “make sure that” + subject + verb.

So here I would say: “I want to make sure that you’re okay” or “I want to make sure that there are no more serious issues” or “I want to make sure it’s not any more serious than vertigo.”

I should make sure about your health, therefore i prescribe a computerized scan of your brain .
