It’s correct. I assume that you don’t wear normal shoes, so if you’re wearing boots or something, then you can say lace up that way.

“Hang-glide” can be used as a verb. You can say, “go hang-gliding” but you don’t say “jump from” in this case. I tried doing that in Rio, but there wasn’t enough wind and they didn’t let anyone go the day I went 🙁
