This is a great time to use “keep up with.” Instead of “technology evolution speed” you can say, “the fast pace of change in technology” – something like this:

It’s hard to keep up with all the changes in technology.
It’s hard to keep up with the fast pace of change in technology.

In this case, you don’t have to say “speed” because it’s a race and that’s implied. You can say, “Make sure you can keep up with your competitors in the race.”
