Great example, and a common one. The only doubt I have is the word “for.” “Digital transformation” is often used to mean, updating technology and systems so that formerly manual processes are digitized and that more business data is available for analysis, etc. You might say instead, “The company announced it was at an inflection point when it launched its digital transformation.” That means: The company is at an inflection point and is launching a digital transformations. But you might also say, “The company announced it was at an inflection point in its digital transformation.” That means, the transformation is underway and in that process, the company is at an inflection point.

Great example – just one quick note, we usually don’t say “our earth” … it’s more common to say “the earth” or “the planet”

We need to work harder and take action immediately to redue the fossil fuel consumption.

Yes – good example of inflection point. A crisis doesn’t “increase,” but you could say, “If the crisis gets worse” or “If the crisis continues” or “If the crisis deepens”
