Waze is an application for mobile devices, based on GPS navigation, which contains user information and route details, depending on the location of the portable device on the network. It was developed by Israeli start-up Waze Mobile, a company that was acquired by Google in 2013.

Waze … yeah, I don’t know. Waze seems to send you on crazy routes. Looking at the order in which you put the information… “On my last trip for the first time” sounds contradictory. I think you mean that, On the last trip you took, Waze sent you in the wrong direction for the first time. You could say, “On my last trip, Waze sent me in the wrong direction for the first time.” That means, you’ve taken multiple trips, but this was the first time Waze sent you in the wrong direction. If you want to use “headed”, you can say: “On my last trip, I realized I was headed in the wrong direction because of Waze. It was the first time that had happened.”
