In reply to Huy. Great example! This is a great time to use "even though" instead of "although" and combine it into one sentence: "I figured that she forgot my birthday even though I mentioned it many times."

That’s great! I am not sure what you mean by, “I couldn’t have any progress.” Do you mean, “I couldn’t make much progress”? “I figured that” is correct.

At the beginning of my English learning journey I thought this is a lesson or a skill that I have to learn as soon as possible but I couldn’t have any progress then I figured that this is a way to think, communicate and see the world in an other perspective. I changed my ways and now I enjoy every moment I use English on my daily life.

Many people figure that that with faith and religiosity everything can be achieved
