Love that example! You can say, “I dive into it happily”

In the second example, “home chores” is “household chores.” I have a small piece of advice for you with “myself”:

1. By myself = this emphasizes that you do it alone, with no help
2. Myself = if you leave off “by”, you emphasize that you are doing it instead of another person

So, “I like to exercise by myself” implies that you prefer doing it without anyone else around; and “I cooked the meal myself” means, you might have wanted help, but instead you did it yourself and nobody else did it. We sometimes use simply “myself” to mean “I wanted someone else to do it, but instead I chose to do it.” That, I think, is closer to the meaning you want here. You wanted help, but instead you just did the chores. Therefore, you can say:

“I always think my children would do more household chores, but I wind up doing them myself.”

With my children I always think they would do more home chores but I wind up doing them by myself.

Great example of “wind up” and “no matter” – just one edit – make this all one sentence. Put a comma after try: “No matter how hard you try, you will…”

Almost … “Spending too much time on social media” is acting as your subject here, it’s the thing that does the action. “Spending time” does not “be anxious” but “Spending time” does “make you anxious.” So you can say: “Spending too much time on social media may wind up making you anxious and reducing your productivity at work.”
