Great example! And you’re not alone in that. I might just put this in the simple past and say: “…being in a crowded place creeped me out.”

Great example. you can also say this: “Being in a small, confined space without windows creeps me out.”

I can deal with spiders and ants, but if it’s big like a cockroach, no thank you.

You can say, “If I’m home alone, well, then I don’t think I’d be able to rest until I found a way to kill the invader.”

I can’t even stay in the same room that a cockroach. If I see one of them, I hide wherever I find a safe place and I call for my someone’s help. If I am alone at home, well, then I think I wouldn’t have no rest until I find a way to kill the invader bug.
