Great example and that sounds like a very supportive group of friends 🙂 Glad you liked the expression this time.

As you mentioned, this is less common, but I’d like to describe my beloved friends as closely-knit. 🙂 The group of my best friends has closely-knit relationships, which means we share lots of things from daily emotions to relative businesses. That could be very specific and trivial ones such as what we had for a meal. When one of us going through difficult times, the others are willing to pitch in. I hope our friendships to last forever. 🙂

Great example with “closely-knit.” Just a few suggestions:
– “Many people in Korea live in apartment buildings. They usually have over 15 floors…”
– “It is not common that people have a chance…”
– And finally, instead of “know”, you might want to use the phrase “get to know each other.” To “know” someone is simply to know the perosn’s name and maybe to have said hello once. But to “get to know” someone is to learn more about the perosn’s life and develop a relationship. I think that’s what you want to communicate here.

This is a good example, but we usually use a “to be” verb with closely-knit. You could say, “When we work in a squad model, our team is closely knit for the duration of the job.”

It usually has over 15th floors and over 30 families live in one building. So people are not closely-knit. It is not common that people has a chance to know each other these days. But some people communicate with each other through a website of region.
