“check in” is good here, but “to have a good service” is not quite right. A restaurant might try to explain its policy this way: “So that we can provide a high level of service to everyone, we request that all clients check in when they arrive.”

I love that Asian hospitality! “Check in” is perfect. A few things for you:

1. “So it is one of the most important things to get guests’ arrival time before their stay.” = “One of the most important things is to get guests’ anticipated arrival time before their stay begins.”

2. “Stressful” refers to an event (a late arrival is stressful), but “stressed out” refers to a feeling or emotion. So you can say, “If the staff doesn’t know when the guests are expected to check in, they get stressed out.”

So it is one of the most important things to get guests’ arrival time before their stay. If staff don’t know when their guests check in in advance, they would be so stressful. If some guests check in after dinner time starts, working hours for staff must be extended.

Sorry, I meant to paste in the following link: https://plainenglish.com/videos/at-the-time
Instead of saying, “That time my younger son…” you can say, “At the time, my younger son…”

Ha! That’s good. I actually do know the feeling of getting to the airport on the wrong day; unfortunately for me, it was the day after my flight. You used “check in” correctly. A few other small tips for you:

1. We would typically say “long weekend” instead of “extended weekend.” A long weekend can be Friday-Monday, Thursday-Sunday/Monday, etc.
2. In English, kids typically don’t address their fathers as “Father,” but more often as “Dad.” If a child calls his father/mother as “Father” or “Mother” it sounds antiquated or overly formal.
3. “That time my younger son…” = check out this video:

Yes, this is great. The only thing is that you would not say “make the check in” but instead just say, “tried to check in online, but it didn’t work…”
