This works. When describing things that are necessary, we typically use “it’s necessary to…” in a general sense that’s not specific to a person. For example, “It’s necessary to answer all the questions before advancing to the next section.” This speaks in general about what’s necessary. When you make the necessary action specific to a person (“change your ways”), it’s common to change the first part of the sentence, too: “If you want to learn faster, you need to change your ways and be an active learner.” Or, “Before you can advance to the next section, you must answer all the questions.” So you want to keep both parts either personal (“you need to…change your ways”) or both parts non-personal (“it’s necessary to…”answer all the questions”).

“because it is verified for years” … I think you mean, “I don’t change my ways because I’ve perfected my routine over the years.” Is that right?

Y’all is a very southern thing. “Are y’all ready to go?” Outside the south, as the map shows, “You guys” is popular, even to a mix of men and women. (Are you guys going to lunch now?) However, “you guys” is becoming less popular. In fact, in business/professional environments, it’s considered not appropriate to say “you guys” – a lot of women don’t like being called “you guys”.
