I think when you say “trustees” you mean the group of owners of the condominium right? In that case, you can say:

“We breathed new life into my condo building after the trustees painted the walls.” In the US, we would call the “trustees” the board of directors, or simply the board. When we say “my condo” we typically mean “my unit” or “my apartment.” If you mean the whole building, you could say “my building” or “my condo building.” If you want to specify only the common areas (not areas in any person’s apartment), you can say “in the common areas.” In the US, we would say, “The board breathed new life into our building by painting the walls of the common areas.”

I would make a few changes. First: “This year, Brazil is celebrating 200 years of independence.”

You should also say what exactly is breathing life into the new museum. You can say, “The museum closed for renovations two years ago. The renovations are intended to breathe new life into the old building.”
