Thank you, I rewrite: Michael Jackson was at his peak in the 1980s.

This isn’t wrong, but it doesn’t sound quite right to describe a movie as being at its peak. I think the phrase “to be at your peak” is short for, “to be at your peak performance” and that’s usually associated with a person or group of people. You could say, “It brought back memories of watching classic movies like ‘The Lion King’ when Disney was at its peak”

It brought back memories of watching classic movies like “The Lion King” at their peak. Those were the days.

Yeah, that’s exactly how it is. They were so popular when I was a teenager (I was born in ’81). We definitely don’t need stores like this anymore, but it’s nostalgic to think aback on it. We miss it, but realistically I wouldn’t ever actually go to a Blockbuster these days

However, I could guess the feeling when something which was at its pick is declining or disappeared. It would be a kind of missing and regretting.

Nokia hit its peak sales in 1990. I feel people don’t buy a lot of cameras now with smartphones, right?

Ah that’s cool! We might have to explain to some members that a “mix tape” was the original “Playlist”!
