Great example. I just looked up Ibirapuera Park and it reminds me of Central Park … a huge park full of trees, but surrounded by tall buildings. It looks like a great oasis from the big city.

I don’t think this is an official rule, but in English, when talking about our own pets, we usually say “he” or “she” and not “it.” If we’re talking about an animal that we don’t know, or belongs to a stranger, it’s better to say “it.” For example:

My dog is very smart; she always walks without a leash.
There’s a strange dog walking on the street; I have no idea where it came from.

without a leash are prohibited.

To use “abide by”, you need some kind of rule. You may have seen the word “abide” used with feelings, but that’s without “by” after it.

“I have to abide by the social distancing rules put in place by our state government.”

In this case, you need something like a rule. Taxes are a payment, but the tax laws or regulations are the rules.

“I don’t like to pay taxes, but I have to abide by local tax laws.”

In the US, we have to pay taxes by state. And if you work in multiple states during the year, then you have to pay taxes to all the states you worked in. It’s annoying if, like me, you sometimes travel for work. So I would say, “I don’t like paying taxes in multiple states, but I have to abide by all the state tax laws and track the hours I spent working in each state.”

A great example, you need to abide by all the signs and criteria covering fishing and the use of the beach.
